Starting this fall Anna will be a Sessional Lecturer for the UBC School of Music. She will teach "Opera Theatre Techniques" and "Staging and Directing Opera" courses as well as dance classes for the Opera Division.

Anna co-directs the remount of Ana Sokolovic's dawn always begins in the bones at Walter Hall. A co-production between the University of Toronto and the University of Manitoba.
Opera.ca Vancouver Summit
September 19-21, 2019
Anna will be the Event Coordinator for the Opera.ca Vancouver/UBC Opera summit this fall. She will also hold dramatic workshops for the young artists in attendance. The Opera Summit will build on the theme introduced at last year's Summit around the "the gap" experienced by many emerging artists between their training and the establishment of their careers. Building New Bridges positions this challenge not as an emerging artist problem, but a sectoral one, and invites delegates to co-create solutions that will lead to a stronger, more connected and equitable future opera sector.
The Marriage of Figaro
November 21-24, 2019
Anna is choreographing University of Toronto Opera's production of Le nozze di Figaro. Directed by Michael Albano and conducted by Sandra Horst. She will also continue to teach dance workshops for UofT's Opera Division.
April 18 - May 8, 2020
Anna will assistant direct Tim Albery's production of Aida for the Canadian Opera Company featuring Toronto favourites Tamara Wilson and Russell Thomas. She will also continue to be a dramatic coach for the COC's Ensemble Studio.

BrottOpera presents a Canadian Opera showcase celebrating the captivating music and style of this genre in a contemporary setting. Anna will direct excerpts from John Estacio's Filumena and a new commission from Barbara Croall entitled Kikzootaadwak (Hide and Seek).
